Sophomores

Sophomore Year
The sophomore year should be a year of personal growth. In addition to working hard in school and being involved in activities, students need to identify personal abilities, aptitudes and interests, and look for ways to further develop your talents and skills.

1. Academic Progress
Monitor your academic progress.

2. Get Involved
Become involved in a wide variety of activities that will help you develop leadership skills.

3. Sophomore Meeting / PSAT
Attend the sophomore meeting in the spring. Sign up to take the PSAT test offered in the fall.

4. Exploring Opportunities
Begin to explore various college and employment opportunities and gather information regarding the areas that interest you. The school guidance office, library or public library are great places for you to research the career that interests you. It is also beneficial to talk with friends or relatives that work in the field you are considering.

5. Update
Update your Activities, Awards and Work Experience list.
