Description
Description: The school psychologist provides a program of services geared to assisting in the educational process of the children who are enrolled in the district. The school psychologist will be considered a part of the district administrative team for programs in areas of psychological testing, staff development, supervision, and resource development. The school psychologist is to coordinate evaluations, provide diagnostic assessment; carry on psychological consultation; intervention; research; and assist in program planning for students in alignment with our Multi Level System of Supports (MLSSS).

Qualifications:
Current, or ability to obtain, Wisconsin DPI license in School Psychologist 7062
Knowledge of Multi Level System of Supports (MLSS)
Ability to provide individual and/or small group social and emotional interventions
Training in trauma-informed care including verbal de-escalation and nonviolent crisis intervention (NVCI or similar)
Experience with Restorative Practices
Ability to work with families and students with diverse backgrounds and experiences to improve school performance
