Demonstrate success in team teaching with emphasis/strength in inclusive practices
Demonstrate success in designing instructional content for multiple subject areas
Demonstrate success in working with remedial and special education students
Be flexible and adaptive
Demonstrate use of technology to enhance student performance
Demonstrate ability to design and create learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate; familiarity with research-based interventions for reading, math and behavior
Demonstrate ability to successfully complete IEP paperwork and successfully manage timelines for annual IEP meetings and evaluations
Demonstrate ability to manage challenging behaviors
Demonstrate ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of a team, relate to students, parents and staff
Be willing to stay current and use technology in your classroom.
